Fishing Charter Rates

A small portion of your charter will be spent in pursuit of bait. If you would rather buy bait, instead of catching your own, we can order bait for the day. Call for details.

What To Bring

It is recommended that you bring sunglasses, sunscreen, camera, extra clothes (depending on the weather), whatever food and drink you want for the day, and a cooler to keep your fish filets cold. How about that favorite fishing rod you want to try out on the big ones.

Departure Location & Directions

Charters depart from one of two Miami-Dade county marinas - either Matheson Hammock Marina or Black Point Marina (see below for directions and maps).

Directions to Matheson Hammock

From the North: Take I-95 south until it ends and turns into US-I (just past the Key Biscayne exit) continue south approximately 4 miles until you come to the traffic light at Le June Road, (SW 42 Ave.), turn left, and go approx. 2 miles until you come to a traffic circle (no light), continue through or ½ way around the circle, (the road is now called Old Cutler Road) and at the second traffic light after the circle, turn left, this is the entrance to Matheson Hammock Park and Marina (there will be a big sign). Once inside the park you will come to a tollbooth. After the tollbooth bear right and go over a small bridge. The entrance to the boat ramp is on the left at the base of the bridge. From the South: Take US 1, north, to SW 112 ST and head east (right) to the end. Make a right onto Red Road (SW 57 AVE.). Travel to the first traffic light (1/4 mile) and turn left onto Old Cutler Road. Approximately two miles ahead will be a traffic light and a large sign saying Matheson Hammock Park and Marina - turn right into the park. Once inside the park you will come to a tollbooth. After the tollbooth, bear right and go over a bridge. The entrance to the boat ramp is on the left at the base of the bridge. Look for the boat at one of the piers.

Directions to Black Point

From the North:Take the exit onto FL-821 S/Florida's Turnpike S toward Homestead Toll road
1. Head south on FL-91 S - 59 ft
2. Take the exit toward Homestead Partial toll road - 0.9 mi
3. Merge onto Florida 821 Toll S/Homestead Extension of Florida's Turnpike Partial toll road - 34.4 mi
4. Take exit 11 for Cutler Ridge Blvd toward SW 216th St - 0.2 mi
5. Continue straight - 0.1 mi
6. Continue straight onto SW 108th Ct - 0.4 mi
7. Turn left at SW 216th St/Hainlin Mill Dr Continue to follow SW 216th St - 2.0 mi
8. Turn right at SW 87th Ave - 1.9 mi
